Savannah Talks Troy Anthony Davis No. 11: Judge Moore says “Not innocent”
After a twenty-year struggle by supporters to win an evidentiary hearing to reconsider Georgia death-row inmate Troy Anthony Davis’ conviction, the two-day hearing held in June resulted today in U.S. District Judge William T. Moore Jr.’s decision that, “Mr. Davis is not innocent” and will not receive a new trial.
